Bangalore Foodie Review - Cakewala Bakery Jayanagar

Bakery plays a important part in our dietary habit and starting from Cake, Pizza and Bread are important bakery products. So when my friend said me about Cakewala I was surprised that  I pass through it every day and yet I have not explored what it had to offer. With the notion that you get bread and pizza base very cheap I went to the place. But at end of it, it was a very pleasant experience.

There are 2 outlets of Cakewala that I know of and the outlet which I visited was at 36th Cross Road,
4T Block, Jayanagar. Its beside one of another of my favorite Breakfast places Taza Thindi which I will cover in another blog.

Now coming back to Cakewala what I likes was the verity of bakery products and the quality at a very cheap price. I took garlic bread, multi-grain bread and Pizza Bun and 3 types of moose  all were packed well quite cheap and the best ting about them was that they were fresh. The buying experience was good.

Once back to home I started my tasting and found Garlic bread more like a fresh bread loaf with a soft crust and flakes of burnt garlic which gave a light garlicky taste I tried it with tomato Soup and it really enhance its taste. The muti-grain  bread was fresh and good and it tasted much better as sandwiches. Given that pizza base were really cheap before we can use it and owing to the fact that we have kept it outside it went bad quickly.

The highlight of my tasting were the three Moose, I had bought Royal Black Forest, English Tripple and Eggless Blueberry. The English triple was fruity with little chunks of jelly, pineapple and moose. The royal black forest tasted like black forest cake with flakes of chocolate and some bits of cream and black forest cake. The final was the eggless black currant and the best was the tangy and yet fruity flavour and the nice moose gave the best flavour.

At the end I can only say that after buying and tasting their breads and moose I really liked it very much and will definitely recommend to buy from this bakery.
