Bangalore nightout : Chavdi

Nestled between trees and residential houses beside IIMB is this lovely terrace cafe/ lounge caller Chavadi. I explored this place few years back in Zomato and had come to explore some of its dishes. Its located on the roof of a boutique hotel and is a very spacious and well decorated cafe. Some places do not strike because of their food but by their ambiance, this is such a place. 

At first look you will not make out the place from the entrance. But once you get it by it's rustic yet sensible decor you will be impressed. There are two floors and the kitchen is in the lower floor, with a nice bar and open plan and the cool breeze makes you feel relaxed. The big wooden tables and chairs gives a very rustic feel. The high roof with big beams and bamboo support gives it a colonial look. 

The best place to be for me is the bar where the nice hanging lanterns emitting light from ajar facade give a dream like feel to the red wall of the bar. A clean counter and a good assortment of liquor makes a great evening place to hangout and catch up a drink. If you want little more seclusion then the upper floor is very great place that can accommodate more than 5 - 6 people in a table. 

The lovely breeze, lovely music and the company of your friends can easily make it one of your favorite hangout place in south Bangalore. Another great thing about this place its not that much crowded and have a good continental and Indian menu of starters and mains which you can try.

Personally I liked their chicken and pizza though they keep changing their menu from time to time. But as I said more than the food its the ambiance that will make you like this place.
